Hi.
I write about summer, the countryside and the sea, women’s lives, big old country houses, and complicated families and secrets.
I windsurf, paddleboard, swim, cycle, walk, and sail. I love being by or on the sea.
I’m inspired by surf culture, mindfulness, coastal living, books about the sea and surf, watersports, long summer days, and the summer.
A theme in my reading, writing, and general dreaming has always been the sea. I have always loved the pull of the sea, been in equal measures mesmerised and terrified by its power and beauty, and loved the natural, laid back surf/sea lifestyle.
This blog is a collection of thoughts, inspirations, features, photos, creative writing, and more inspired by the elements, countryside, sea, and the coast, with the odd thought on growing up and trying to find my way.
Heya thank you for checking out my blog, I appreciate the follow. Looking forward to your posts 🙂

As you may have noticed, I’ve let it slip – but would love to start it up again. Hopefully in April!

How do I access the monthly theme? How do I post it? Do I just post it on my blog and/or how do I post it so you can read it?

Hey! The theme can be found here –> https://seaearthsky.co.uk/category/sea/sea-stories/ I admit I’ve let it slide a bit recently with life being busy, but will pick it up again soon! Just post it on your page and tag it with Sea Stories, and then comment back on the original post too if you like! 🙂

I really love the idea of having a manifesto on your blog. Yours is lovely. 😀 Can’t believe I’d somehow missed this section of your site before.
